The Black Rose
A bright light of loveliness and delight,
So intense that darkness can’t envelope it,
So Dazzling that only angels can behold it.
It gives warmth and comfort to those it surrounds.
Look now it comes with happiness and joy,
Bringing forth all elegance and grace,
With striking countenance it brings forth its unending love.
A deep dark chasm of wickedness and sorrow,
So deep that nothing can fill it,
So dark that light can’t penetrate it.
It coils and binds all that come by it.
Look now it comes with ferocious abode,
Bringing forth all malice and deceit.
With salient protection is consumes and devours its foes.
